2 · Test
First predictions and conditions are recorded.
3 · Observe on paper
Add the observed path to your paper sketch using a dashed line. Explain what matched or differed. If your first work agrees, no revision is required.

The paper and your explanation are assessed. The screen does not award grades. Gallery models reopen automatically. Your paper work and oral explanations remain separate evidence.
What is controlled?
Use g = 9.80 m/s². No air resistance, weapon spread, boosts or thrust after departure. The target stays still. Launch speed is the actual departure speed in the ground frame.
Racers use a guided departure and a fixed chassis attitude through flight. The rear tire departure marker defines distance; first wheel contact ends the flight. This measures reach, not suspension safety or damage.
Aircraft release without a push: the package inherits both aircraft velocity components. Ground and ship launchers remain stationary. The highlighted reference barrel uses the game’s nominal launch point, with spread disabled. Student geometry is cosmetic; its size does not change the measurement point.
Planning, typing, adjusting the camera and backgrounding pause a flight. Resume explicitly. The plotted estimate is yours, even when wrong; only the travelled path appears during a test. Only your predicted results are labeled. The amber band allows for rounding; the observed path is never moved to match it. Describe your interpretation on paper.
Camera: drag to rotate; pinch to zoom and move with two fingers. With a mouse, scroll to zoom and Shift-drag to move. Focus the scene and use arrow keys to rotate, Shift + arrows to move, + / − to zoom, and 0 to reset. Camera adjustments never change the setup or measured flight. Map cutaway hides foreground geometry for observation; switch it off to inspect the complete actual map. Collision surfaces are identical in both views.
